- Apple – In my opinion, apples are one of the best fruits ever. They aren’t too sweet but sweet enough for the average snack, low in sugar and packed with gut-friendly fiber, delicious and inexpensive enough that anybody can afford them. I also love apples because they help clean your whole mouth and in-between teeth, which lots of fruits can’t really do so well. They also deliver vitamin C and potassium, which help with recovery after effort, immune system function, and so on.
- Banana – A true nutritional powerhouse, bananas are rich in potassium and magnesium, vitamins and phytonutrients, as well as plenty of dietary fiber. Banana will easily keep you nourished and full after an intense activity, while its taste and texture will pair perfectly with the other two ingredients in our quick snack.
- Dark Chocolate – Choose a quality chocolate that has 85% cacao or even more. Real chocolate should only contain the following basic ingredients: cacao mass, cacao butter, natural sweetener and maybe natural flavor like vanilla.
