Low-carb Desserts 101
When I first discovered low-carb desserts, I didn’t even know what low-carb was. I was eating processed foods, fast food, store bought desserts, and so on. I wasn’t eating plants or whole food, I wasn’t cooking healthy, I wasn’t doing anything for my health.
Desserts just like these made me want to try cooking low-carb. I liked the idea of preparing healthy desserts that don’t require special preparations or expensive ingredients that will throw my budget away. It couldn’t be that easy, right? Well .. it was that easy!
I decided to put together a round-up (18 low-carb desserts that I LOVE) because I wanted to share with everyone the amazing recipes I discovered during the years, and the people behind them. The world is full of people that appreciate healthy desserts and healthy cooking, and yet we are surrounded by so many unhealthy options.
Here are a few reasons why I like all these 18 low-carb desserts. They’re:
- easy to prepare and don’t cost much
- you don’t need special cooking experience to make these desserts

- they’re low-carb and keto friendly, with most being vegan friendly as well
- they don’t contain added sugar, refined seed oils or refined flours (with the exception of croissants)
- these desserts are prepared using real ingredients, without additives or preservatives
- they’re super tasty and super healthy
- and a fun way to spend your Friday night, cooking and serving them with friends and family.
