What goes into the Berries Revitalizer Smoothie?

When it comes to smoothies, I always emphasize that making your own smoothies it’s not rocket science. If I can do it, you can do it too.

Making your own smoothie is simply a matter of having a recipe template that you’re excited about, a decent blender and a lot of fresh and frozen plants at hand. And I mean a lot of different kinds of berries, fruits, veggies, and spices, that will inspire you to start blending.

With this in mind, let’s look closely at this smoothie.

The main ingredient in this smoothie are berries … actually different types of frozen berries. In my oppinion, all kinds of berries are great to use in smoothies because they have a low sugar content, they come with phytonutrients and antioxidants and can easily be mixed with different veggies and still taste great. If you ask me, berries are one of those ingredients that you should use in your smoothies as often as possible.

While berries may be the highlight of this smoothie, there are many other ingredients that make it a winner. Let’s see … there’s spinach and broccoli in there, as well as avocado.

There’s also celery and fennel, plus red beet and banana. Wait, there’s more! I’ve also included chia and hemp seeds for a boost of superfoods, as well as two of my favorite spices, ginger and turmeric in powder form.

You will absolutely love this berry smoothie

This Berries Revitalizer Smoothie smoothie was simply amazing and here’s why. It was:

Full of berries

Notes

Feel free to mix your berries the way you like them and feel free to only use 1 or 2 kinds of berries, if that's what you like. I had all kinds of leftovers berries in my fridge so that’s why I chose to mix them like this.
I haven’t used any coconut oil for this smoothie. The same is true for salt, although you could add a pinch of Himalayan salt if you want.
The texture is also perfect for a smoothie bowl.
