Ingredients for this delicious green smoothie
There is quite a lot to love about this Broccoli Mango Green Smoothie Treat and I invite you to discover everything that makes it special. Let us start with the ingredients list:
- Avocado – fresh and having a perfect green color, avocado comes with many healthy fats and fiber, plus other nutrients
- Broccoli (frozen) – adds lots of nutrients (including gut-friendly fiber) to any smoothie, and frozen broccoli is easy to use in smoothies
- Spinach (frozen) – we use just a bit of spinach here and, as broccoli, spinach is a superfood
- Mango (frozen) – perfectly refreshing, mango will define the taste of this smoothie together with broccoli
- White Grapes – sweet and in season, our white grapes came from Italy, were sweet and without seeds
- Apple – when it comes to fruits, I think apples are the most popular fruit, and one that is cheap to buy and super healthy to consume
- Pomegranate – we used the seeds from half of a perfectly ripen medium size pomegranate
- Ginger powder – well-known asian warming spice that is a true superfood and perfect to include in smoothies
- Cardamom powder – another warming spice that is a superfood and, like ginger, comes with lots of health benefits
- Water – use enough water to cover the ingredients in the blender, and a bit more if needed
