Reasons to love this smoothie

This raspberry smoothie will become a fast favorite for more reasons than one!

Delicious – One of my rules is that smoothies have to taste good. This delicious combination of sweet and refreshing raspberries, banana and lots of other plants makes for a really satisfying sip!

Perfect Texture – Who doesn’t like a creamy smoothie, right! Don’t worry because I’ve got you covered with this balanced raspberry smoothie recipe.

Quick and Easy – With smoothies there is almost no prep work done, besides peeling and chopping a few ingredients, or opening a bag of frozen raspberries or broccoli. It will only take you about 10 minutes to make this smoothie, from start to finish.

Nutritious – This smoothie is loaded with all the nutrients that you need: think vitamins, minerals, enzymes, healthy fiber, phytonutrients. Veggies are awesome in smoothies as well, and I have you covered with some of them here, including my favorite vegetable which is broccoli.

Versatile – This smoothie can be enjoyed as one big breakfast, a small (but mighty) snack, or a refreshing beverage while you walk in nature. And since by following my recipe you will be making 4 servings, you can share this awesome breakfast with someone else or store it in the fridge for next day.

Customizable – As always, you’re free to adjust this recipe to fit your dietary needs or preferences. Try swapping different fruits, veggies or boosters, playing with proportions as you’d like!

Raspberry smoothie ingredients

For this delicious raspberry smoothie combo, you’ll need the following plant-based ingredients:

  • Fruits – frozen raspberries, avocado, banana, mandarins
  • Vegetables – frozen broccoli, carrot, leek
  • Nuts – hazelnuts (raw)
  • Boosters – cardamom powder, ginger powder, turmeric powder
  • Others – fresh basil, Himalayan salt
  • Water

Pro Tip: I mainly use fresh ingredients for my smoothies and I always try to buy as many ingredients as possible from organic and responsible grown sources. Why? Simply because it’s better for the environment (better and healthier soil) but also because it’s healthier to consume naturally grown plants (more nutrients, free of pesticide residues).

If you want to get to the next level with your smoothies, this refreshing smoothie might be one delicious recipe to try. Personally I’m really grateful to be able to enjoy such nourishment and I invite you to try it too.

I hope you’ll enjoy this Creamy Raspberry Smoothie and share it with others!

Searching for a healthy smoothie that actually tastes good? This raspberry smoothie has got you covered! This nourishing snack or breakfast is ready in minutes to keep you fuelled on even your busiest days.

Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients

  • 150-200 g frozen raspberries
  • 80-100 g frozen broccoli
  • 1 big avocado (skin and seed removed)
  • 1 banana (peeled)
  • 2 big carrots (peeled and cut big)
  • 100 g hazelnuts (presoaked overnight, min 12h)
  • 5 cm leeks
  • 2 mandarins (skinless)
  • 3 basil leaves
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
  • 700-800 ml water

Instructions

  • Add ingredients into your blender. Add enough water to level everything.
  • Blend on medium to high speed until everything looks creamy.
  • Done! Enjoy fresh and store the rest in the fridge for 2-3 days.

Notes

  • Color: light pink
  • Texture: thick and creamy (banana + avocado + hazelnuts), like a shake. Has a few raspberry seeds but overall well mixed.
  • Taste: sweet, raspberries taste. leeks + spices aftertaste

This recipe uses raw hazelnuts, and I chose to pre-soak the hazelnuts overnight in plain water with a few teaspoons of salt.
Should you want to use the mandarins with skin on them, make sure that, for health and safety reasons, you’re using an organic mandarin (free of chemical residues on its skin).
