How to hide spinach in this smoothie
This smoothie is balanced in terms of the ingredients, and this makes it super easy to blend. Here’s how we managed to hide spinach in this smoothie:
- We start with one of the classical smoothie combos, banana and avocado.
- We continue by adding frozen berries and juicy grapefruit.
- Now it’s time to hide in that frozen spinach (and we use quite a lot of spinach).
- We continue by adding a few veggies here and there, and dates for sweetness.
- Lastly, we complete this smoothie with a short list of boosters.

Hide Your Spinach Smoothie ingredients
For the ultimate Hide Your Spinach Smoothie combo (the version that I prefer best) you’ll need the following plant-based ingredients:
- Fruits: avocado, banana, grapefruit, frozen sea buckthorn, frozen cranberries
- Vegetables: frozen spinach, celery, fennel
- Boosters: pomegranate powder, dandelion powder
- Others: dried dates, extra virgin coconut oil, Himalayan salt
- Water
And no, you really can’t taste the spinach! Make this smoothie and then report back. I’ll wait…

I don’t have a problem with spinach but my husband doesn’t quite enjoy it. You gave me an interesting idea here :))
