In this Health Minute article I’ll share with you a simple formula that you can use in order to dissolve any kind of fear that may arise in your mind. This formula is inspired by the book “The Power of Now” (1999) by Eckhart Tolle.

The Causes of Fear
Faer can have many causes and can manifest in many ways. Among these causes we could identify things like emotional trauma, chemical imbalances, lack of sleep, perception of a negative outcome, wrong habits. even lack of proper nutrients in diet, just to name a few.
The fear that I’m referring to comes as a voice in your head, telling you that you’re in danger, or that you must take a certain action in order to escape the perceived danger. Becoming aware of this voice in your head is the first step in dissolving the fear.
Fear and Your Mind
That voice in your head is your mind which, simply put, always tries to keep you safe. The problem here is that the mind acts on perceptions and habits developed over years and years of repeatimg certain life patterns.
So basically, during our life, we subconsciously train our mind to act in a certain way, without even knowing it. During this so-called “training process” we end-up forming our own perceptions of the world around us. Furthermore, we will be using these perceptions (interpretations) of the world around us to inform the mind of how the world “is”.
With time, we also develop certain fears about certain things, events, situations, actions, places and so on. Most of the time we aren’t even aware of these fears that reside in our subconscious.
How to Dissolve Fear Formula
Getting back to the subject of our article, let’s discuss how to dissolve a fear that may arise in your mind.
The formula that you’ll be using is pretty simple and it requires your conscious attention. In fact, it requires you to be conscious in that moment when the fear arises, and to be the observant of your mind (to observe the thoughts that arise in your mind).
Here is a simple formula that you can use to dissolve fear:
- Be present in whatever you are doing.
- Become the observer of your mind.
- Observe the fear that arise in your mind.
- Acknowledge the fear but do not give it power.
- Take your attention into the fear and observe it.
- Be present with the fear thoughts but do not execute them.
- Once you do this consciously, the fear will slowly dissolve because it cannot exist while you are conscious of it.

i hope that you’ve understood by now that fear is only a projection of your mind. Use the formula above to become aware of the fear thoughts and to dissolve any kind of fears that may arise in your mind.
The first step in dissolving fear is to become present in the moment (in the now, as Eckhart Tolle puts it). Learning to become present and to be the observer of your mind is crucial in order to dissolve fear.
Next, follow all the steps indicated above while staying present, calm and fully conscious. With time you’ll become even better at dissolving fear but, keep in mind that initially it may be quite hard to even observe the mind or staying present with the fear.
My advice os to approach this path with love and calmness. Don’t forget that health is a journey, and that it takes time and patience to transform yourself and your life.
