Ingredients list for Spinach Broccoli Mango Smoothie
Here is the list of plants that go into this super healthy and awesome green smoothie:
- Avocado – Great source of healthy fats and gut-friendly fiber, as well as minerals and vitamins. Avocado will also contribute to that creamy texture that we absolutely love in smoothies.
- Spinach – As always, we’re using frozen spinach because it takes under a minute to prep it (just get the bag out of the freezer) but also because we can easily find organic frozen broccoli that is always fresh and tastes amazing.
- Broccoli – Same as with spinach, we prefer using frozen broccoli because it will add that refreshing taste to our smoothie. Plus it’s cheaper to buy, super easy to use in smoothies (virtually no prep work needed), but also because it’s always fresh (since frozen veggies retain almost all nutrients).
- Apple – We used a sweet and sour apple here, but feel free to choose the kind of apple that you like, making make sure to remove all seeds. Yes, sometimes it happens that we forget about those seeds!
- Mango – Use fresh or frozen mango, either way it’s just fine. Sometimes frozen mangoes can taste a bit sour-ish while fresh mangoes can be left on the counter to ripen and become perfectly sweet. For this green smoothie we used frozen mango because we had it already in the freezer.
- White Grapes – The grape season was in full bloom when we’ve made this smoothie, so we said to ourselves that it’s time for a smoothie with a few of those sweet grapes. For best results, make sure to use seedless grapes.
- Ginger Powder – Ginger has anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant properties, and comes with a long list of health benefits. The health benefits of ginger range from improved mood to immune system boosting, and from helping with digestion to improved brain health.
- Cardamom Powder – Similar to ginger in terms of health benefits, and resembling cinnamon in terms of taste, cardamom is another superfood that we advise everyone to include in smoothies due to having many health benefits. As with all superfoods, a little goes a long way here.
- Water – Use enough water to cover all the ingredients in the blender but not too much, or you will end-up with a rather watery smoothie. Add more water if your blender can’t process the ingredients.

Why blend this Spinach Broccoli Mango Smoothie?
Let me tell you why this green smoothie with spinach, broccoli and mango is sooo “good-for you”. This is what you get:
- Real Nutrients in a glass instead of buying pre-packaged “food” at the store. Because you deserve the best!
- Plant Enzymes instead of pasteurized smoothies that lack real digestive enzymes which are destroyed during the pasteurization process. Enzymes are only active in raw plants that have not been processed thermally, and they will help you digest food more easily and absorb all nutrients from your smoothie.
- Sugar-Free smoothie instead of those sugar-packed smoothies that will cause spikes in your blood sugar levels. Those smoothies at the store are loaded with sugar (both added sugar and fructose) and they will lead to weight gain, fluctuating energy, increased tiredness and so on.
- Healthy Fats support your overall health starting from the cellular level up to your skin, hair, digestion, memory, brain health, sleep, mood, your energy levels, cellular growth and repair, absorption of vitamins, and so on. Basically everything in your system will benefits from a dose of healthy fats.
- Meal Replacement – Like many of my smoothie recipes, this green smoothie can easily be called a meal replacement smoothie. It will give you a clean boost of energy for the entire day.
- Healthy & Natural – You know exactly what goes into your smoothie and ultimately into your body. You’ll be using real plants, while staying away from added sugar or other unhealthy additives. You’ll end-up with a healthy and tasty smoothie that will nourish your system from the inside.
- Detox your System – Last, but not least, this green smoothie is perfect for detoxing your body and mind. One smoothie a day will keep the doctor away, isn’t this what they say!
