Immune boosting smoothie with healthy ingredients

For this smoothie we used lots of healthy ingredients which you can easily find at your local store or farmer’s market. This smoothie turned out thick and well mixed, and it’s perfect for boosting your immune system function when you have a cold.

For the ultimate vitamin booster combination, you’ll need the following plant-based ingredients:

  • Fruits: avocado, apple, frozen berries, dates
  • Vegetables: carrots, fennel, kale, lettuce
  • Seeds: chia seeds, hemp seeds
  • Boosters: ginger powder, cardamom powder, cinnamon powder, turmeric powder, raw cacao powder
  • Others: extra virgin coconut oil, fresh mint, lemon slice, Himalayan salt
    * *Water*

Pro Tip: I use fresh ingredients for my smoothies and I always try to buy as many of the ingredients from organic and responsible grown sources. Why? Simply because it’s better for the environment (healthier soil) but also because it’s healthier for the mind and body to consume plants that are grown naturally (more nutrients, free of pesticide residues). Last, but not least, organically grown plants and healthier for the people growing the plants, since those people do not expose themselves to chemicals.

The ultimate vitamin booster smoothie is:

Rich in vitamins and minerals for a super healthy mind and body.
Packed with phytonutrients (antioxidants included) to enhance immune function.
Rich in gut-friendly fiber and enzymes, to upgrade digestion and immune system function.
Quick and easy to blend!
Naturally sweet and free of added sugar.
Has a natural plant-based taste with a few “surprises”.
Packed with healthy fats that support healthy living.
Perfect for low-carb and keto way of eating.
Great smoothie for the perfect start to the day!

Pro Tip: This smoothie may turn out a bit sour-ish, so it’s a good idea to make sure that you’re using sweet berries. In case of using berries that are a bit sour, just add 1-2 more dates which will boost the overall sweetness of the smoothie.
