For the most refreshing Superfood Green Smoothie combination (that I absolutely loved) you’ll need the following plant-based ingredients:
- Fruits: avocado, golden apple
- Vegetables: cucumber, kapia pepper, frozen spinach, frozen green peas, carrot, kale
- Seeds: hemp seeds
- Boosters: raw cacao, pomegranate powder, cinnamon powder, ginger powder, fenugreek powder, cardamom powder, turmeric powder
- Others: lemon slice, Himalayan salt, cayenne pepper
- Water

Superfood Green Smoothie (You’ll Actually Love!)
Equipment

Ingredients
- 2 avocado (skin and seed removed)
- 1 golden apple (seedless)
- 1/2 cucumber fabio (sliced)
- 1/2 kapia red pepper (seeds removed)
- 200-250 g frozen spinach
- 150-200 g frozen green peas (lightly boiled or frozen)
- 1 carrot (peeled and cut big)
- 1-2 leaves kale
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 2 tsp raw cacao
- 1-2 tbsp pomegranate powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 1 tsp fenugreek powder
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
- 2 slices lemon
- 1/3 tsp cayenne pepper
- 700 ml water
Instructions
- Add everything into your blender, including water.
- Blend on medium to high until everything looks smooth and creamy. If it looks too thick, just add more water and mix again.
- Serve fresh or store in the fridge for 2-3 days.
Notes
- Color: dark green
- Texture: just right, not too thick and definitely not watery
- Taste: neutral with a spicy aftertaste
This can be a big smoothie so you’ll need a rather big and powerful blender to mix everything smoothly. I used frozen green peas that I lightly boiled and cooled down at room temperature. For simplicity you can just use frozen green peas. In case you want to use the slice of lemon with skin, make sure to use an organic lemon. Conventionally grown citrus fruits are often sprayed with pesticides and so their skin gets contaminated with chemicals.
