Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients

  • 2 big avocado (skin and seed removed)
  • 300 g frozen spinach
  • 150 g green peas (lightly boiled or frozen)
  • 1 carrot (peeled and cut big)
  • 250 g frozen blueberries
  • 2 tbsp frozen sea buckthorn
  • 1 stick celery
  • 1 slice fennel
  • 1 small cucumber fabio (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1/2 red bell pepper (seedless)
  • 1 tbsp wheatgrass powder
  • 1 tbsp raw cacao
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 500 ml water

Instructions

  • Add everything into your blender, including water.
  • Blend on medium to high until everything looks smooth and creamy. If it looks too thick, just add more water and mix again.
  • Serve fresh or store in the fridge for 2-3 days.

Notes

  • Color: brown with pale green threads
  • Texture: thick and hard to blend but turned out ok, can be eaten with a spoon.
  • Taste: interesting taste - not sweet, not sour, not bitter … neutral taste but it “melts” in the mouth.

This is a big smoothie that requires a big powerful blender to blend everything smoothly. In case you have a smaller less powerful blender, feel free to divide all the ingredient quantities in half.
Instead of frozen sea buckthorn you can use frozen cranberries, but keep in mind that the color of your smoothie will develop toward dark red.
I used lightly boiled green peas but frozen green peas will work just as good.
