This delicious green smoothie was designed with one purpose in mind: to deliver a clean energy boost using as many green veggies as one can fill into their blender.
We’ve made this smoothie in a Sunday afternoon, It was one of the first days of spring and we felt like adding mostly green veggies into our smoothie mix. I’m happy to say that we ended-up with a gorgeous green color, a creamy texture and the perfect green smoothie.

Our Energy Boost Green Smoothie comes packed with lots of plants like avocado, banana, apple, cucumber, bell pepper, celery, fennel, wheatgrass and kale, hemp seeds, plus warming spices. It’s safe to say that, after drinking this green smoothie, you will be getting a healthy dose of plants (greens in particular).
In terms of beneficial nutrients, you’ll get an assortment of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, phytonutrients, or gut-friendly fiber. That is what I call an energy boost green smoothie!
Like with all smoothies, we are focusing on using healthy plants for putting together a healthy smoothie blend. We don’t count calories and we don’t care about macros. The only thing that we care is using the best plants that we can in order to deliver lots of nutrients to our precious body.
My easy green smoothie formula
When putting together any of my smoothies, I like to follow my instinct and I never think twice about my choice of ingredients. I usually shoot for a particular color so I will have an idea of which plants to use, but my recipes are always spontaneous (and packed with lots of plants).
For my daily smoothie I like to follow this simple smoothie formula:
- plenty of healthy fats from at least two sources
- lots of veggies as varied as possible
- a few fruits and keeping it low-carb
- at least a source of protein
- lots of warming spices
- plain water or healthy plant milks
- I like using both fresh and frozen plants
There are no real secrets to making a healthy tasty smoothie.
You simply get together lots of healthy plants.
Add all your ingredients into the blender.
Cover them with water (or plant milk).
Blend your way towards a healthy life!

Triple Greens Energy Boost Green Smoothie
Equipment
- Blender
Ingredients
- 2 medium avocado
- 1/2 cucumber
- 2 stick celery
- 1 carrot
- 1 slice fennel
- 1 golden apple
- 2 bananas
- 2 leaves kale
- 1/2 yellow bell pepper
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp wheatgrass powder
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 1 big slice lemon
- 1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
- 700 ml water
Instructions
- Add everything into your blender, including water.
- Blend on medium to high until everything looks smooth and creamy. If it looks too thick, just add more water and blend again.
- Serve fresh or store in the fridge for 2-3 days.
Notes
- Color: spring green
- Texture: very smooth and creamy, very pleasant to drink
- Taste: rich fruity taste, sweet and pleasant to drink
