How to make Berry Banana Milkshake

This homemade berry banana keto milkshake comes together quite easily in 3 easy steps. You won’t need an ice cream maker or other complicated kitchen tools.

Follow these steps to make delicious berry beet milkshake (as always, find complete details in the recipe card!):

  1. Add all the ingredients into your blender, Including sour cream.
  2. Blend on medium speed until you obtain that creamy consistency.
  3. Your keto milkshake is now ready. Pour in favorite glasses and decorate using berries. Serve and enjoy!

Pro Tip: Stop the blender from time to time and check the consistency of your shake. It should be thick and creamy, something between a whipped cream and a “regular” milkshake. Do not over beat the cream because you’ll most likely ruin its texture.

It’s entirely up to you when you indulge on this delicious keto milkshake, because it’s great all the time. Serve it for breakfast, as a delicious dessert or even as a recovery meal after a training session.

Let’s grab this keto milkshake – it’s time for dessert! Enjoy and share this berry and banana milkshake with everyone!

Ultra refreshing, naturally sweet, this instant berry and banana keto milkshake is absolutely delicious and healthy, thanks to a rich blend of sour cream, berries and banana. It’s everything you want in a healthy shake and too delicious to ignore!

Equipment

  • Blender or Kitchen Robot

Ingredients

  • 500 g full-fat sour cream (35% fat, or crème fraîche)
  • 5 tsp frozen sea buckthorn
  • 8 tsp frozen blackberries
  • 8 tsp frozen blueberries
  • 8 tsp frozen cranberries
  • 1 banana
  • 2 tsp coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (liquid)
  • 1 tbsp cacao butter (optional)

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients into your blender, Including sour cream.
  • Blend on medium speed until you obtain a creamy and thick consistency.
  • Your healthy milkshake is ready to be served! It will be quite soft, almost the consistency of nice cream.
  • Choose two tall glasses, pour milkshake halfway through, followed by adding berries and banana slices. Now fill the glasses with more milkshake and decorate on top with frozen berries.
  • DONE! Serve fresh or keep in the fridge until you decide to consume it.

Notes

You can serve this healthy milkshake fresh or store it in the fridge for next day.
Instead of sour cream you can use crème fraîche which is almost the some. For best results use a quality full-fat sour cream or crème fraîche.
Sea Buckthorn berries can be hard to find sometimes so an easy adjustment is to use more cranberries.
This milkshake recipe is forgiving in terms of quantities of berries. Make this recipe your own by using different types of berries and adjust the quantities based on your preference.
