Our 5-Ingredient Simple Green Smoothie is the perfect example of how a few basic ingredients (spinach alert!) can turn into a nourishing green smoothie that tastes like spring, summer and autumn, all in the same glass. Yes, it is that good!

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cucumber fabio
  • 1 banana (peeled)
  • 3 carrots (sliced)
  • 250 g frozen spinach
  • 1.5 avocado (skin and seed removed)
  • 1 slice lemon (skin on, organic)
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
  • 700 ml water

Instructions

  • Add all the ingredients into your blender. Add enough water to cover the ingredients.
  • Blend on medium to high speed until everything looks smooth and creamy. If it looks too thick, just add a bit more water and blend again for 10-20 seconds.
  • Serve fresh or store in the fridge for 2-3 days.
