Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients

  • 1 small glass macadamia milk (100 ml, homemade)
  • 1 avocado (skin and seed removed)
  • 1 carrot (cut big)
  • 1/2 bell pepper (chopped)
  • 2 leaves kale
  • 200-250 g frozen spinach
  • 200 g frozen broccoli and cauliflower
  • 1/4 fennel (chopped small)
  • 5 cm leeks (chopped)
  • a bit of fresh ginger (chopped small)
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 slice pineapple (skin and core removed)
  • 1 pomegranate (seeds only)
  • 1 tbsp wheatgrass powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp aniseed
  • 1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
  • 600 ml water (on top of macadamia milk)
  • no coconut oil

Instructions

  • Add all the fruits and veggies into your blender.
  • Add the macadamia milk and the water needed.
  • Blend on medium to high until everything looks smooth and creamy. If it looks too thick, add a bit more water and mix.
  • That was it! Serve fresh or store in the fridge for max of 2 days.

Notes

  • Color: bright green-yellow, very saturated
  • Texture: a bit rough but yet creamy and easy to drink
  • Taste: has a strong spicy taste from cayenne pepper and ginger, but you can also feel a bit of leeks

I used homemade macadamia milk that was previously made.
Here’s a quick recipe for macadamia milk: add macadamia nuts and water in your blender and mix. Use 200 ml water for every 200g macadamia nuts.
Due to using freshly made macadamia milk this smoothie won’t last more than 2 days in the fridge.
