1mandarin(peeled)
1/2bigavocado(skin and seed removed)
1/2stickcelery
2bigcarrots
150-200gfrozen spinach
1banana(peeled)
1/2grapefruit(peeled)
2tspextra virgin coconut oil
1slicefennel
pinch ofHimalayan salt
water(cover the ingredients)
Instructions
Add everything into your blender. Add enough water to level everything.
Blend on medium to high until everything looks creamy.
Serve fresh or store in the fridge for 2-3 days.
Notes
Color: green with a yellow tint
Texture: perfectly blended, very smooth and creamy
Taste: perfect green smoothie taste with an intense aroma. It’s sweet (banana + fennel) and a bit bitter (grapefruit) with a bit of spinach aftertaste.
Use enough water to level the ingredients and a bit more. Feel free to add more water if your blender is having trouble pureeing the ingredients.Another trick that I use to blend any smoothie to perfection is to use the pulse function a few times, followed by switching from medium to high speed alternatively for 10 seconds each.
