Learn how to make the best fresh ginger lemon tea with this three-ingredient recipe! Spicy, and refreshing, this hot tea is all I need when I want to warm-up from the inside.

Equipment

  • Water Kettle
  • Tea Cup (200 ml)

Ingredients

  • 3 thin slices fresh ginger (organic, chopped)
  • 1/2 slice lemon (organic, chopped)
  • 1 cinnamon stick (optional, or cinnamon powder)
  • hot water (boiled)

Instructions

  • Add chopped ginger and lemon into a large tea cup.
  • Next, add either the entire cinnamon stick or a pinch of cinnamon powder.
  • Slowly pour hot water until the tea cup gets full.
  • Let it sit for a few minutes before removing the cinnamon stick.
  • DONE! Your ginger lemon tea is now ready.

Notes

You can reuse the cinnamon stick as many times as you want.
If you don’t have cinnamon stick at hand you can simply use cinnamon powder.
If you’re using the lemon with skin, please make sure to use an organically grown lemon. This is due to health risks associated with conventionally grown lemons (namely pesticide residues in the skin),
For best aroma make sure to drink your ginger lemon tea as soon as it is ready or remove the lemon pieces after 10 minutes or so.
