  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
  • 450 ml water (or enough to cover ingredients)

  • Blend everything until you obtain the desired texture.
  • Enjoy fresh or store in the fridge for 2-3 days.

Notes

  • Color: dark pink-red

Feel like going vegan? Simply replace the whey protein powder with a vegan protein powder (pea protein or hemp protein) or skip using protein powder altogether.
If the lemon used is not organically grown, make sure to remove its skin due to health risks associated with pesticides that may be present in the skin of conventionally grown lemons.
You can always swap plain water for coconut water, coconut milk, almond milk or cashew milk. Any of these will add plenty of healthy fats to your smoothie and will enrich its texture, making it even more creamier.
