This simple homemade snack is loaded with all sorts of “good for you" nutrients and it's so easy to put together. Works perfectly as a quick grab breakfast, healthy snack or as a quick and easy recovery meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 handful walnuts
  • 1 handful pecans
  • 2 cups full-fat yogurt (I like 10% greek yogurt)

Instructions

  • Add yogurt into a medium cup.
  • Add a few pecans and walnuts.
  • Let the nuts soak for a few minutes and serve.

Notes

I like using full-fat yogurt, unpasteurized and without any added ingredients. This way I can get all the benefits of raw fermented milk: probiotics, enzymes, quality proteins, healthy fats (including omega 3s), calcium or assorted vitamins, and even phytonutrients.
