Tropical Yellow Cream Pineapple Smoothie
Servings: 3 glassees
This simple smoothie recipe combines the sweetness of pineapple with the healthy fats from avocado, coconut milk, plus hemp and chia seeds. Just perfect as breakfast or as a refreshing drink for a busy afternoon.
- 1 big avocado (skin and seed removed)
- 3-4 big slices pineapple (core and skin removed, cubed)
- 2 tbsp coconut cream or coconut milk
- 2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- pinch of Himalayan salt
- 300 ml water (enough to cover the ingredients)
Peel your ingredients and remove seeds or core.
Cut them into smaller pieces and add everything into the blender.
Add water or other optional liquid like coconut water.
Blend on high speed for 1-2 minutes until you get a smooth and creamy texture.
Feel free to play with the water quantity and you’ll get a different texture overall. You can also use other types of liquids, instead of water. Popular choices include coconut milk, coconut water, almond milk, cashew milk, macadamia milk.
You can substitute coconut cream for coconut milk, coconut butter or even coconut oil If you don’t have any of these at hand, try adding another 1/2 avocado or maybe a nut butter like almond butter or cashew butter.
