Red Beet and Grapefruit Smoothie Delight

This smoothie was so easy to blend and turned out creamy, just the way we like it. It’s loaded with many different nutrients and has a double taste: red beet and grapefruit.
- 1 avocado (skin and seed removed)
- 1 small red beet (peeled and sliced)
- 2 slices grapefruit (or 1 mandarin, peeled)
- 2 slices fennel
- 2 big prunes (seedless)
- 100 g frozen spinach
- 3 carrots
- 1 apple (sweet and sour, seedless)
- 1 tsp turmeric + ginger powder
- 2 tsp extra virgin coconut oil
- 2-3 leaves fresh basil
- 1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
Add everything into your blender. Add enough water to level the ingredients.
Blend on medium to high until everything looks creamy.
Serve fresh or store in the fridge for 2-3 days.
- Color: pink and orange
- Texture: creamy, easy to drink
- Taste: red beet + grapefruit, not spicy at all
