Blend the Ultimate Vitamin Booster Smoothie and give yourself a shot of healthy nutrients! This smoothie works great as an immune system boost for those times when you have a cold or feel tired and need a shot of beneficial nutrients. Nothing fancy, just another healthy smoothie.
1 avocado (skin and seed removed) 1 green apple (seeds removed) 2 medium carrots 1 leaf kale 4-5 tbsp frozen berries mix (blackberries + sea buckthorn) 2 tbsp hemp and chia seeds 1 big slice fennel a few leaves green lettuce (chopped) a few leaves fresh mint (chopped) 2 tbsp extra virgin coconut oil 1 tbsp raw cacao powder 1 tsp cardamom powder 1 tsp ginger powder 1 tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp cinnamon powder 1 slice lemon 1/2 tsp Himalayan salt 3-4 dried dates (chopped small) 500 ml water Wash and prep all the ingredients, remove skin, seeds or cut into pieces.
Add everything into blender and cover with water.
Blend on medium to high speed until you obtain the desired texture.
Done! Serve fresh or store in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Color: dark red to brown color
Texture: well mixed, puree
Taste: a bit sour (it needs sweet berries) + a bit of cacao + spicy aftertaste
