Easy raw vegan treat made in under 1 minute using just 3 simple ingredients that you already have in your pantry. Free of added sugar, vegan and gluten-free, and seriously satisfying!

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 100 g walnuts (halves)
  • 50 g dark chocolate (85% or more)
  • 100 g raisins

Instructions

  • Add everything into a bowl.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

How to activate walnuts: Place raw walnuts in a bowl, cover with water and add a bit of salt. Leave it for at least 2-3 hours (ideally 6 hours) until walnuts have changed color to a pale yellow. When activated, walnuts will become softer and easier to chew, but will also have more digestive enzymes.
For best results, try using organic walnuts and raisins, and choose only quality dark chocolate.
I used 85% dark chocolate but you can use any kind. I wouldn’t go below 70% chocolate or you’ll end-up with a treat that will be too sweet.
Make sure that you’re only using unprocessed raisins, free of additives or preservatives of any kind.
