A simple and nutritious green smoothie that adds a spicy twist to your average green smoothie.

Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado (skin and seed removed)
  • 1 golden apple (no seeds please)
  • 1 stick celery
  • 200-250 g frozen spinach
  • 2 tsp extra virgin coconut oil
  • 1 small orange bell pepper
  • 1 slice fennel (chopped)
  • 1 tsp ginger powder (organic)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder (organic)
  • 250 ml water

Instructions

  • Add everything into the blender (including water) and mix well.
  • If the texture looks a bit rough, consider adding more liquid and blend again for 10-20 seconds.
  • That’s it! Enjoy it fresh or store it in the fridge for 2 days.

Notes

  • Color: light green
  • Taste: a bit spicy and green
  • Texture: a bit rough, mine needed more water

Consider adding more water if the texture looks a bit rough. Blend for another 10-20 seconds on max speed to smooth everything out.
